Community Read “Shelterbelts”

University of Minnesota Extension Master Gardeners of Douglas County want to get you off to a great gardening season. Join them for a series of informative gardening sessions offered through August free of charge without pre-registration. These lunch-time sessions from noon to 1 p.m. are offered in conjunction with the Douglas County Library. Bring your lunch or snack to the Douglas County Library Meeting Room and explore Minnesota Gardening!
• Tuesday, June 25 – Community Read “Shelterbelts” by Robin Trott and Pat Jepsen. Robin will speak about Victory Gardens and Pat on the history of shelterbelts.
• Tuesday, July 9 – Lilies by Kathy Janke. Do you love lilies? Have you wondered how to plant and care for them? What varieties will grow in our area? Learn the answers to these questions and more.
