Listen & Learn: Opioid Use Disorder
July 20 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm CDTFree
Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) remains a growing concern in the United States, with more than 100,000 overdoses occurring in 2021 alone. There is also considerable stigma associated with OUD.
Join us in a one-hour, informative, virtual Listen & Learn event on Wednesday, July 20 from 12-1 pm to hear from Dr. Allison Juba, Family Medicine Physician with Alomere Health, on the prevalence of OUD and treatment options, and from Pat Homstad on his personal journey through recovery.
The event is open to everyone and is free of charge. Register by visiting the Alexandria Chamber website at alexandriamn.org and look for the registration link on the main page. Listen & Learn is a one-hour informative virtual event hosted by the Alexandria Chamber. These sessions offer information, education, support, and resources on topics that impact the community and its diverse business and organizational partners.
