Mindfulness for Stress Reduction 8 Week Course

The 8 week evidence based course takes place each Monday from 5:30 – 8:30 for 8 weeks, beginning 2/10 – 3/30. MBSR is an eight-week evidence-based program that offers secular, intensive mindfulness training to assist people with stress, anxiety, depression and pain. It is a practical approach which trains attention, allowing people to cultivate awareness and therefore enabling them to have more choice and take wise action in their lives. You will participate in formal mindfulness practice (sitting, walking, body scan meditation), yoga, along with education on the bodies habitual response to stress and how to work with this mindfully in order to create a new way of being in the world.
