This class is for younger puppies between 8 weeks and 12 weeks old or very small/toy size puppies under 10 months old that are also under 15 lbs. and their parent(s). For older puppies (ages 13 weeks – 10 months) register for Balanced Canines Tweens/Teens class. This class focuses on basic socialization including age appropriate play with other puppies and humans, positive relationship building, house training, crate training, introduction to a leash and loose leash training, basic grooming, body handling, impulse control, and coming when called. Common problems such as chewing, jumping, digging, and barking also will be addressed. Dog parents will gain confidence in how to provide enough physical and mental exercise for their young pup as well as be on the road to building a positive relationship with their young puppy that will set the tone for an amazing bond and partnership. This class meets 1 hour per week for 4 weeks.
