DESCRIPTION:June 15-23 nearly 9\,000 student athletes\, their friends\, families and supporters converge on Alexandria as they participate in the 2026 Minnesota Trapshooting Championship. Hotel rooms are booked and the Alexandria Shooting Park is working diligently to be ready for this huge event that means nearly $6 million in economic impact to our community. Be ready! Be friendly! The opening ceremonies are every morning at 7:30 a.m. and the daily events end at 5:30 p.m. Athletes and families turn over every couple of days\, meaning new experiences and memories to make.
