SUMMARY:Runestone Ramble
DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJune 27\, 2026\n2026 Registration is OPEN!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Runestone Ramble is one of the only trail runs held in central Minnesota. This family oriented run will be held on Saturday\, June 27 at Kensington Runestone Park\, located 15 miles west of Alexandria\, Minnesota\, in Douglas County. The course navigates the beautiful\, but challenging terrain of the 304 acre wooded and gently rolling county park. Kensington Runestone Park is filled with trails for hiking\, cross-country skiing\, and mountain biking\, along with a playground area and beautiful visitors center that tells the legendary story of the Kensington Runestone. You have two trail run options: the 7K Trail Run and the 1 Mile Kids Ramble. The 7K course traverses the expanse of the park and includes a number of rigorous climbs. The 1 Kids Ramble is a family friendly out and back course.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n7K TRAIL RUN\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nEarly Bird ‘til June 1: $40 + fees \nJune 2 – June 13: $45 + fees \nAfter June 13: $50 (no t-shirt) \n18 & younger: $20 (no t-shirt after June 13) \n1 MILE KIDS FUN RUN: $12 + fees\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER!\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBib PickUp on Saturday morning\, 7:00 AM – 8:15 AM. Registration and check in will be held near the visitors center the morning of the race. Locker rooms and showers are NOT available. Indoor bathrooms are available. \nT-Shirts provided for all who pre-register by June 13. \n8:30 AM – 7K \n9:45 AM – 1 mile \n10:00 AM – AWARDS for top 3 male and top 3 female finishers! \nThis event is hosted by Alexandria Nordic Club and all proceeds will go to support the equipping of our local HS and MS Nordic teams\, growing our kids ski programs\, and expanding access to Nordic skiing through trail development. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
