SUMMARY:Snowshoe Lacing Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Lace your own pair of snowshoes during this two-day workshop. You will be provided with the equipment and instruction needed to lace your own traditional Ojibwe-style snowshoes. Learn this skill from an experienced instructor through this hands-on and rewarding workshop. This workshop is recommended for ages 10 and up will consist of two consecutive day sessions on Saturday\, November 21 and Sunday\, November 22 from 9am to 4pm at the Visitor Center. \n***Participants must attend both days. \nThe cost is a $80 registration fee. This fee includes the snowshoe kit\, materials and instruction\, along with coffee\, tea\, water\, and snacks. Lunch will not be provided for the weekend workshop\, so attendees should bring a sack lunch. A Minnesota state parks vehicle permit is required to enter the park ($7/day or $35/year). \nRegister by calling Lake Carlos State Park at (320) 993-3750. Deadline to register for this workshop is Sunday\, November 15\, 2026 by NO LATER THAN 4pm. Workshop has a minimum of 8 participants to run and a maximum of 15 participants.
