Cardboard Roll Project: Unicorns & Sharks!
Join us in the big meeting room for a morning being creative with cardboard rolls. We’ll be making unicorns and sharks! This event is free and open to kids of all ages. No registration required! The Community Room features tables decorated for the Holildays. Guests vote for the best décor as well as participate in several games while enjoying the music of the season. The High School Carolers stop by for a few numbers! Tickets are $20 a person which includes a gourmet luncheon. This is an annual event held the first Saturday of December. Jodi Melsness is from Starbuck but currently lives in the Twin Cities. She is a registered nurse and Hospice / Home Care worker who went through the struggle with Alzheimer's disease with her mother. Her experience in the field plus her love for her mother enrich this compassionate memoir called The Lemon Bar Queen. Jodi will be at Cherry Street Books on Saturday December 7th from 1 - 2:30 to share her book and talk with interested readers.
