DESCRIPTION:The Alexandria Art Guild’s July Artist of the Month\, Naomi “Noni” Bjorklund\, will be honored at an Artist Reception on Friday\, July 10\, from 3 to 5:30 p.m. at the Guild’s Visual Arts Center\, 612 Broadway in Alexandria. \nA founding member of the Alexandria Art Guild\, Bjorklund began painting in 2007 and has since become an award-winning artist working in painting\, portraiture\, jewelry making and enameling. \nThe public is invited to meet the artist\, view a special exhibition of her work and enjoy refreshments. \nThe exhibition will remain on display throughout July. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday\, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday\, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and closed Sunday.
