DESCRIPTION:Legacy of the Lakes Museum’s annual Family Day\, free and open to the public! Family Day activities run from 1-4 pm throughout the museum and Legacy Gardens. They’ve added more fun than ever before to this year’s Family Day. \n-More kid’s activities from the museum and other local organizations\n-Demonstrations & Crafts\n-Face Painting\n-Free Kid’s concert from the Bazillions (3 pm)\n-Free Museum Admission (12-4 pm) \nWe’ll be serving up $5 Hot Dog Baskets all day\, plus we’ll have free popcorn and ice cream treats.

SUMMARY:Music in the Gardens: Jazz Women All Stars
DESCRIPTION:Head to the Legacy Gardens as they welcome some powerhouses of sound to the stage\, the Jazz Women All Stars! \nThe Jazz Women All Stars were created by Minnesota Music Hall of Fame vocalist and KBEM jazz radio personality Patty Peterson. In 2016\, the Jazz Women All-Stars made a terrific debut at the Twin Cities Jazz Festival in Mears Park. This ensemble celebrates the great women of jazz artists in the Twin Cities\, instrumentalists as well as vocalists. You don’t want to miss this show! \nGates open at 5:30 pm. The Museum’s North Gallery will be open for viewing and there will be food and beverages on site for purchase (no outside food or beverages please). Music starts at 6:30 pm.
