This bracelet is created in the style of the Sami people, the indigenous natives of northern Scandinavia and Russia. The Sami people, also referred to as Laplanders, are known for herding reindeer and have historically decorated clothing and leather with spun metal. The Sami Friendship bracelet is made by braiding coiled tin wire, attaching to reindeer leather, adding an antler button and finishing up with faux sinew.
