Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No. 6 “Pathetique” is the piece that he described many times in letters as “the best thing I ever composed or shall compose.” The CLSO orchestra performs Movement 1: Adagio – Allegro non troppo, and Movement IV: Adagio lamentoso.  The Central Lakes Symphony Chorale collaborates with the symphony orchestra to perform Lux, a composition by Dan Forrest. This piece is a 5 movement work exploring the various facets of Lux, which is the Latin word for “light.”
