Listen & Learn: Addressing Workforce Needs

As businesses continue to face workforce recruitment and retention challenges, opportunities are available through Minnesota’s Dual-Training Pipeline program. Learn more at an upcoming one-hour, informative, virtual Listen & Learn event on Thursday, October 15 from 10-11 am.
Dan Solomon and Sarah Hill from the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry’s Dual-Training Pipeline program will share how earn-and-learn training opportunities can assist with your company’s recruitment and retention strategies. Dual-Training Pipeline exists as a resource to support employers in advanced manufacturing, agriculture, childcare, health care services, information technology, legal cannabis, and transportation industries. Attendees will learn how to start their own dual-training program as well as how to tap into state grants to help pay for earn-and-learn employee training.
The event is open to everyone and is free of charge. Register by visiting the Alexandria Chamber website at alexandriamn.org and look for the registration link on the main page. Listen & Learn is a one-hour informative virtual event hosted by the Alexandria Chamber in partnership with the Alexandria Area Economic Development Commission.
