In advance of the Alexandria Walk to End Alzheimer’s on September 26th – the Alexandria community is invited to help “Paint the Town Purple” September 20-26. Local businesses can participate by decorating in purple, displaying Alzheimer’s awareness materials, collecting donations, offering special promotions benefiting the Walk, distributing purple windmill and forget-me-not flowers, or becoming a Walk sponsor.Businesses interested in participating in “Paint the Town Purple” can request materials by contacting Jess Ptacek at Bethany on the Lake at 320.763.2192 or JPtacek@MonarchMN.com.
