This month Alexandra Wardwell the Audubon Prairie Project Manager for Minnesota will be joining us. Alex enjoys working with landowners and partners on habitat improvement projects and permanent land protection. She manages Audubon’s prairie and wetlands restoration and enhancement program in the Important Bird Areas and Minnesota Prairie Conservation Plan boundaries of western Minnesota and the globally unique Tallgrass Aspen Parklands ecoregion. She lives in northwestern Minnesota with her family where she enjoys living close to thousands of acres of public wildlands. Alex will be discussing her role with Audubon as well as her past and present work in the prairies and wetlands of Minnesota. Come meet her and other folks interested in nature, birds, and conservation.
This meeting will be held at 7 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, 605 Douglas St. in Alexandria, MN. We look forward to seeing you there!
There is no cost to attend this program.
