Join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday, June 22 at 10 am at Big Ole Park to unveil the Leadership Alexandria class of 2023’s class project which features Outboard Motor Sculptures that will be placed throughout the community including Big Ole Park!

Leadership Alexandria is a nine-month program through the Alexandria Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce that provides an opportunity for participants to develop leadership skills and learn more about the community that they are living and/or working in. At the end of each program year, the class is responsible for brainstorming, choosing, and executing a project within the community. The class of 2023 worked with Alexandria Area High School, 3M Abrasive Systems Division Plant, Duininck Concrete, SignMax, and local artists to bring these community sculptures to reality.
