All bike riders are welcome!
The Ride of Silence is a worldwide event held the 3rd Wednesday in May (National Bike Month). Its purpose is to raise the awareness of cyclists’ legal right to public roadways. The ride is also a chance to remember those who have been killed or injured in cycling accidents. The event begins with a short program to honor cyclists at 6:45 PM.
We will leave at 7:00 p.m. biking in a slow, silent ride of about 5 miles around town and on the Central Lakes Trail. You are welcome to do any part of the ride. Cyclists ride no faster than 10 mph and remain silent during the ride.
Free! No registration required. Please remember your helmet!
