PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Traveling Tree House is a mobile learning center that provides FREE summer learning opportunities for local children. At each visit kids experience 75 minutes of reading, crafts, and activities. A snack and gently used book, of their choice, is sent home with them to keep after each visit. New Parks added in 2024

PROGRAM DETAILS

  • The Tree House stops at 12 designated
    locations within Douglas County
  • Program lasts for 10 weeks and is
    designed for children Pre K. – Elementary
    but open to all ages.
  • No pre-registration is required to attend
  • Cancellations due to weather are
    posted on our Facebook pag@TravelingTreeHouseUW
  • Program is overseen by United Way of
    Douglas & Pope Counties

Tuesday:

9 – 10:15 am | Garfield Park-A-While Gardens

Wednesday:

9- 10:15 am | Forada City Park
