The Blessing of the Build occurs at the beginning of every Habitat build to celebrate the community of volunteers, supporters, and community members coming together to build a stronger community. Participants are invited to write a message of encouragement on the boards.

This free program is open to all dads and their kids, ages 2-5. Kids will create a "boat" using a cardboard box, listen to a story, and watch a short movie in their boat. Preschool storytime is for children ages 3-5. No registration required! Stories come alive with books, puppets, rhymes, and songs! This program is designed to support early literacy skills in preschoolers, while encouraging them to love books at an early age. Siblings are welcome to attend.
