Experience the joy of Downtown Alexandria at the Wine, Ale & Art Crawl! Start out at Fort Alexandria at the Runestone Museum (206 Broadway Street) for ID check and to pick up your wristband, then head downtown and enjoy wine and ale sampling at more than 20 local businesses.
Your $15 wristband purchase will include a wine or ale sample along with a food pairing for your enjoyment at each stop. Be sure to check out the local artists featured in each location as well!
This is a 21+ event. Must present ID at check-in.

Artist and author Arthur Norby will be at Cherry Street Books on Saturday June 29th from Noon – 2 PM. His books include mysteries The Legend of Maximillian and The Deadly Winter, both set in rural Minnesota and featuring detective Tom Hall. The Deadly Winter is based on an often repeated story of an actual event known of by the author’s father.
Norby’s other book is called The Artist You Never Knew, an autobiography about Norby and his creative life in art and major works of sculpture. He is a nationally recognized sculptor, painter and author; you may have seen his monumental bronze sculpture at the Minnesota Korean War Veterans Memorial.
All are welcome to stop in and meet Mr. Norby!
Art DeTour: A meandering studio tour of juried artists across the Alexandria Lakes Area
Take the scenic route on the new Art DeTour! Join the fun and meander through the Lakes Area on this free juried tour of fine art. Visit with the makers, shop direct from the studios, explore handmade, local art. A two day event June 15 & 16, 9am-7pm.
Come join us for our FIRST Vendor and Craft Fair at Windmill Ponds! Multiple vendors will be set up for you to browse and shop. There will be snacks, drinks, and entertainment provided as well. All ages are welcome to enjoy this Fair. Come on in and enjoy an afternoon at Windmill Ponds!

Jefferson Senior High graduate, Hans Hintzen will be at the Runestone Museum Friday, May 10 2p-5p where he will talk about and showcase a recent donation of pottery mugs to support educational programming at the museum. With Hintzen, will also be his high school art teacher, Joe Capistrant and fellow potter and former classmate, Scott Engh. The mugs will be for sale and light refreshments will be served.
