Linda Gaugert: Alexandria Art Guild Artist of the Month

Discover the artwork of longtime Alexandria artist Linda Gaugert, featured as the September Artist of the Month at the Alexandria Art Guild.

A founding member of the Guild, Gaugert has been creating art for more than five decades and is known for her work in oil and watercolor painting, with beautiful landscapes among her favorite subjects.

Throughout September, visitors can view Linda Gaugert’s artwork on display at the Alexandria Art Guild in downtown Alexandria, Minnesota. Her extensive experience and love of the local landscape are reflected throughout her collection, offering art lovers an opportunity to experience the work of a talented Minnesota artist.

The public is invited to meet Linda Gaugert during a special artist reception on Friday, September 18, from 1:00–4:00 p.m. Guests can visit with Linda, learn more about her artistic journey and enjoy her featured paintings.

Artist Reception: Kristen Roers

The Alexandria Art Guild’s August Artist of the Month, Kristen Roers, will be honored at an Artist Reception on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Guild’s Visual Arts Center, 612 Broadway in Alexandria.

Roers’ vibrant encaustic, oil and pastel paintings will be featured in a special exhibition throughout August.

The public is invited to meet the artist, view the exhibition and enjoy refreshments.

The exhibition will remain on display throughout August. Gallery hours are Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.; and closed Sunday.
