Join us for an MN Author Event with Ann Schreiber!!

About the Author:
Ann Schreiber is an accomplished freelance copywriter, blogger, and owner of Copywriting For You. She has been in the marketing and sales business for over 25 years and is passionate about business-focused writing.

She released her first book, a memoir and self-reflection manual, Perseverance. Reinvention, in December 2024. Her second book, The Top 10 Mistakes I Made My First Year as a Copywriter, was released in March 2025 and shares lessons from her first year as a copywriter and content writer. Ann’s third book, and first novel, Emily’s Next Chapter, was released on May 20, 2025, launching the Starting Over Trilogy. The second book in the trilogy, Jessica’s New Beginning, was released in March 2026, followed by Liz’s Forever After in June 2026. In June 2026, Ann also released her standalone spicy romance novella, The House Always Wins. A shorter version of that story was also featured in the 2026 anthology Stay or Go in Deadwood, which was released ahead of the Wild Deadwood Reads 2026 event in Deadwood, South Dakota.

Like many writers, Ann began her writing career very young. During recess in elementary school, she would pen short stories in her notebook. When her family invested in their first personal computer in the mid-1980s, she taught herself to type and spent her free time writing fiction stories. Later, she held various positions with the Rosemount High School newspaper and served as editor-in-chief during her senior year. She then became the co-editor-in-chief of the student paper at Inver Hills Community College.

Ann received her bachelor’s degree in English communications from the University of Minnesota and her master’s degree in business communication from the University of St. Thomas. She has two adult children and remarried in February 2023. She is now blessed with a young stepdaughter as well.

When Ann isn’t busy typing away on her laptop for her clients or for fun, she enjoys reading. Her favorite authors include Colleen Hoover, Jodi Picoult, and Kristin Hannah. Ann also enjoys spending time outdoors, working out on the Peloton, and taking her son’s basset hound for daily walks.

MN Author Event: Tom Peart

May 13, 2026 by Alex Chamber

Join us for an MN Author Event with Tom Peart!!

About the Book:
When it comes to a career in coaching sports, there is no teaching without doing—and practice doesn’t just make perfect, it makes a whole life.

In this heartfelt memoir, first-time author Thomas H. Peart recounts the story of his experiences growing up in Alexandria, Minnesota, playing hockey, joining the US Marine Corps, attending college, and eventually entering a lengthy and impressive career as a coach for high school, college, and professional hockey—both stateside and overseas—alongside a number of other sports.

Beginning in childhood and throughout his life, all the way up to the moment of his authoring this very book, Peart’s career as a coach is a testament to the value of learning through experience, teaching with care and respect, and always remaining open to opportunity.

A satisfying slice of life in the postwar American Midwest, this book will make a great addition to the shelves of Peart’s contemporaries, as well as anyone interested in the worlds of amateur and professional sports. Because those who do, teach—and those who teach, do.
