Classes
Puppy Socialization Manners Class
This class is for younger puppies between 8 weeks and 12 weeks old or very small/toy size puppies under 10 months old that are also under 10 lbs. and their parent(s). For older puppies (ages 13 weeks – 10 months) register for our Tweens class. This class focuses on basic socialization including age appropriate play with other puppies and humans, positive relationship building, house training, crate training, introduction to a leash and loose leash training, basic grooming, body handling, impulse control, and coming when called. Common problems such as chewing, jumping, digging, and barking also will be addressed. Dog parents will gain confidence in how to provide enough physical and mental exercise for their young pup as well as be on the road to building a positive relationship with their young puppy that will set the tone for an amazing bond and partnership. This class meets 1 hour per week for 4 weeks.

Common problems such as chewing, jumping, digging, and barking also will be addressed. Dog parents will gain confidence in how to provide enough physical and mental exercise for their young pup as well as be on the road to building a positive relationship with their young puppy that will set the tone for an amazing bond and partnership. Dog Teens/Tweens Socialization and Parenting Class
This class is for older puppies between 13 weeks of age to 10 months old. If you have a younger puppy or puppy that is in this age range but less than 15 lbs, register for Balanced Canines’ Puppy Socialization/Obedience Class. This class focuses on basic house manners like walking on a loose leash, threshold control, extending impulse control, socialization, coming when called, brain development and how to engage the mind to drain mental energy, age appropriate exercise and age appropriate play. Dog parents learn to develop a positive relationship with their dog, leadership skills and responsible dog ownership. This class meets 1 hour per week for 4 weeks.
