Community Event
It Can’t Happen Here – Free Informal Readers Theater
Join a group of semi-theater people in an informal reading of the play “It Can’t Happen Here” adapted from Sinclair Lewis’ book written almost 90 years ago. Audience Participation guaranteed. A fun and challenging event with no admission charge.
This is a Historical, Political, and Dynamic work by a Nobel Prize winning author from the area. We recommend parents of children 13 or younger consider their child’s maturity and curiosity about the subject matter before attending.
October 27th, 4PM-6PM Reading is less than one hour with optional discussion over dinner to follow.
A Night of Hope
Join us to listen to speaker Rory Londer, the subject of the book, “Should’ve Been Dead.” Rory speaks about emerging from the shadows of guilt and shame. He uses his life as a guide to feeling like a disappointment, finding yourself, and then fighting for the life you want.
