Join Copper Trail Brewing for a FREE MOVIE NIGHT in the taproom! One or two Sundays a month we’ll be pushing our bedtime back a bit and screening a movie for neighbors, friends, beer-lovers, and everyone in-between! The taps and taproom will stay open for the duration of the film, and popcorn will be available for purchase. Movie titles will remain a “mystery,” but we’ll be providing three clue words to lead you to your answer…

FREE MN Twins Play Ball! Youth Baseball Clinic
The summer of 2023 marks the 63rd year the Minnesota Twins and the Twins Community Fund, in partnership with Great River Energy, will offer FREE youth baseball and softball clinics!
Created in 1961 by longtime Twins scout, Angelo Guiliani, the clinic program serves as a way for the Minnesota Twins to promote baseball and softball to boys and girls throughout the Upper Midwest. Since the program’s inception, more than 800,000 youth have participated in a Twins youth clinic.
The Twins Community Fund Youth Clinics are designed to teach fundamentals, including hitting, throwing, and defense in a fun and encouraging atmosphere. The clinics provide instruction for boys and girls ages 6-12. The Twins provide all the necessary equipment for the clinic. Participants are asked to bring their own gloves.
The Twins Community Fund Youth Clinics have always been, and will continue to be, available to participants and host communities free of charge. Registration is required to participate in a clinic – participants can register at www.playballmn.com. Funding for the Youth Clinic program is provided by the Twins Community Fund and Great River Energy.

Girls 360º Group
Girls 360º Group is a group for girls ages 14 to 18, educating them on a full spectrum of topics that impact a female adolescent’s life. This group is designed for girls who need help to increase self-esteem, learn about healthy and safe relationships, increase assertiveness, understand decision-making and reasonable risk-taking, and build a positive self-image.
Participants meet from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm Tuesdays, March 7 through April 25, at The Village’s Alexandria office, 4133 Iowa St, Suite 105. This group is led by interns Amanda Radtke and Rebecca Swanson. Activities include guest speakers, crafts, therapy videos, and more.
This group is available to residents of Douglas County at no cost, thanks to grant funding from the Ruth McDonald Fund of the Alexandria Area Community Foundation. Those who live outside Douglas County may also pay to participate. Village EAP sessions may be used to cover the cost of the group.
