Bring the kids to the Legacy of the Lakes Museum on October 31 from 3-5 pm. We’ll have volunteers stationed in different boats around the museum passing out candy.
This event is free and open to the public.

You’ve had a chance to admire them all season and now is your chance to bring one home with you!
Over 20 artists have generously donated their paddles from the Paddle Art contest to the museum for a fundraising auction, giving you the opportunity to own a unique piece of art!
Bidding begins online on October 20, 2024, at 5:00 am and is open until October 26 at 11:59 pm. Preview the available paddles in person at the museum or online here.

Come to the Boathouse on Friday, November 29, to see the holiday trees decorated by local clubs, businesses, and organizations and you can vote for your favorite. Enjoy a cup of hot cocoa and dress it up with your favorite toppings at our Hot Cocoa Bar and roast a marshmallow for a delicious s’more. There will also be Christmas Choir performances and the Friends of Christmas Garden of Lights in the Legacy Gardens.
Follow the lighted path to Fort Alexandria at the Runestone Museum to visit and Santa and have more holiday fun.
This event is free and open to the public, so gather your loved ones and come for a visit!
Voting for your favorite tree is done through donations, whether its $0.25 or $20, and all proceeds from voting go to our non-profit of the year, Ellie’s Legacy Pet Rescue.
