Habitat for Humanity – Dedication of the Two Miltona Homes

Join us for a double celebration! Habitat home dedications are held at the conclusion of the build – before the family moves into their new home. At the home dedication, we recognize all the hard work of the family, volunteers, and supporters. There is a ribbon cutting, prayers, a symbolic key presentation, and a tour of the home. Hear from the homebuyer about how much the journey with Habitat has meant and share in this special celebration. All are welcome!

We hope to see you December 10, 2024, at 3:30 pm to dedicate the home at 276 Greenview Ln, Miltona AND at 4:30 pm to dedicate the home at 326 Greenview Ln, Miltona.

It Can’t Happen Here – Free Informal Readers Theater

Join a group of semi-theater people in an informal reading of the play “It Can’t Happen Here” adapted from Sinclair Lewis’ book written almost 90 years ago. Audience Participation guaranteed. A fun and challenging event with no admission charge.

This is a Historical, Political, and Dynamic work by a Nobel Prize winning author from the area. We recommend parents of children 13 or younger consider their child’s maturity and curiosity about the subject matter before attending.

October 27th, 4PM-6PM Reading is less than one hour with optional discussion over dinner to follow.
