Join us for the 5th annual Take a Kid Ice Fishing event!
Join us at Bemo Pond on Saturday, January 17th, 2026 for a chance to catch Rainbow Trout.
There will be some fishing rods, reels, and portable shelters available for participants to use, you’re welcome to bring your own equipment. No previous experience necessary, members of Viking Sportsmen will be on hand to assist those who are new to ice fishing.
Details
Where: Viking Sportsman Bemo Pond — Park at The Lure Lakebar, a shuttle will bring you to the pond. Bemo Pond is located approx 1.4 mi North of the Lure.
Who: Kids 15 and under. MUST be a MN resident and accompanied by an adult. No licenses needed for kids 15 and under or adults (16+) accompanying them.
Bring ice fishing gear – limited gear available.
