Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist Dave Cofell is back on the road and coming to Evansville Art Center on April 7th. He is a man devoted to the lifestyle of the traveling musician, covering tens of thousands of miles in the United States and Europe. For this First Friday Concert on April 7th, Tom Kuhn will be joining him on stage.
Dave Cofell draws his inspiration from the worlds of Folk, Bluegrass, Blues, Jazz, Country and Classical Music. His performances reveal a mixture of these genres (blended not a style that he has dubbed “Broad Spectrum Americana”) interwoven with humor and wisdom accumulated during his formative years in Central Minnesota and tales of his life on the road.
Invite your family and friends to this great show to kick off the Easter weekend! Feel free to bring a treat to share at intermission if you wish. Beverages will be provided. There is no charge for this concert, donations are gratefully accepted. The Evansville Art Center is located at 111 Main Street in Evansville, Minnesota and is handicap accessible. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through grants from the Lake Region Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage fund and in part through a Minnesota State Legislative general fund appropriation.
Live music, food trucks, beer garden, vintage tractors and 70+ cars on display.
The event is presented by Gardonville and the Brandon Community Club and hosted at Gardonville’s headquarters 800 Central Ave, N, Brandon, MN. Admission is free and open to the public!
